Resources Blog - The Technology Issue
Recently a BBC cricket radio producer wrote an amusing blog about how new technology came to the rescue of Test Match Special. During the day the link back to England went down, and as engineers frantically tried to find and fix the fault, the presenters carried on as if nothing had happened thanks to an iPod.
Commentating on a cricket match is possibly a novel use for an iPod but it does show the versatility of modern technology. This really brought home how far technology has advanced and it begs the question how could this be used by a coach?
Rather than answer this myself I turn to an expert in Mr Robbo the PE Geek (his words!) and his excellent blog
The website is a fabulous insight into what IT related resources are out there, written by someone who has a passion for the subject. It also includes a Top Apps for PE teachers with links to more information on each App.
While aimed mainly at PE teachers there are lots of information that coaches could also take from the site.
